Happy Friday Everyone!!

Today I am sharing a few "snapshots" of my week. Between, working with 3 and 4 year olds, to enjoying warm walks and bbqs, I have had a busy week.

Here's a Glimpse Into My Week!

This week I subbed in a Pre-K Classroom and it's one I have been in before and I just love this age. This week we were learning all about Dinosaurs. Here is one of our centers that included fun puzzles and books.

Now these were fun! We used play dough and toy dinosaurs to make eggs. They stuffed some toy dinosaurs in the play dough, made a ball and placed it on some grass. We are letting it harden over the weekend and then they can crack it open. They enjoyed it a lot!

This week was really nice, perfect for walking. This was a shot of a little side road that I take on my walks in my neighborhood.

This cute little thing is the house that my in-laws placed on their land. We spent our Memorial Day here and we had a huge BBQ! It was so nice and peaceful up there away from the city life!

Lastly, there were Root Beer Floats! Last night was the hubby's last day off for the week so we indulged in some deliciousness!

I hope you all had a great week and share what you are loving in the comments below!

My Go-To Hair Products

Hello Everyone! I am linking up with Andrea and my sister Lisa to discuss our favorite hair products. I have somewhat long hair so I tend to go straight for the top knot or the pony tails. Then their are times that I love to have some bounce to my hair so I add some curls and then I need add a straightener to the mix. I guess it just depends on the day! So here is a peak into what all goes into my hair routine!

1. Dove Advanced Hair Shampoo and Conditioner

This has been my go to for awhile now. I have had so many issues with my hair looking greasy, being too tangly and just not looking healthy. Then I discovered this lovely duo! It is AMAZING! My hair looks and feels wonderful, it has a great shine too it and it is pretty manageable. This girl isn't go back!

2. TRESemme Heating Spray

This product is a MUST HAVE when using a curling iron, hair dryer and a straightener. It protects my hair from all the heat damage that I would be getting if I didn't use some form of heat protectant.

3. Remington Pink Curling Wand

This iron is amazing! Once you get a hang of how to use it you will love it! It curls so easily and the end result it gorgeous, bouncy curls. I cant live without this thing. The best thing about it is that I got it for $20.00 on Amazon!

4. Chi Straightener

This straightener is the best way for me to get the perfect sleek look! Now there is definitely cheaper versions out there at your local drugstore, but they all work the same.

5. Suave Luxe Infusion Hair Products

These products are a new discovery for me and I just LOVE them! They are inexpensive and they work wonders. I have the hairspray and it is amazing. I definitely want to check out the other products.

That is everything folks! I hope you will join Andrea, Lisa and I as we share our favorite hair products! Have a great night!

Hello Everyone!
I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day Weekend! It was nice to spend time with family, away from my phone, and just be grateful to all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms!

I am back this week with my Top Ten Fashion Items for the Summer! Last week I discussed my top ten beauty items and this week I want to let you know what I am loving for summer in the fashion department!
Let me know what you guys are loving for this summer!

KP

1. HATS! There is definitely a need for hats in the summer, for cuteness with many outfits, but most importantly for your protection! Keep a hat with you always, and now there are so many kinds to choose one! Have fun and be creative with it!

2. Crossbody Bags! I love these types of bags for the summer because they are so easy to just put on and go on your way. I have found that I use these a lot in the summer because we do a lot of garage sales which requires free hands. It is also great for outlet shopping! They are very versatile too!

3. Sunglasses! Another item that is a must have for the summer! There are also so many options when you go to buy sunglasses. Whether it is from Target, Forever 21 or Ray Ban!  You can definitely find ones you love in your price range!

4. Sandals! Another must have for Summer! Target has had some really cute ones lately! You can check them out here. I am so ready to bring out the flip flops once the warm weather comes but now they have so many other types of sandals out there! Be creative!

5. Jumpers have been such a huge trend this season and I am loving them! I found some great styles via Instagram and I am excited to get a few of my own! They are also found at inexpensive rates at places like Forever 21 and Target!

6. Simple Tees are a staple in my summer wardrobe and I buy most of mine at Target. They are something that can go throughout the seasons just by simply adding a cardigan. I am still wearing them now with sweaters and as it gets warmer just by themselves. It is definitely a staple to have year round!

7. Statement Necklaces are the perfect way to spruce up a plain outfit. They can be found at Forever 21, Target, and now I am seeing some cute ones at Walmart, yes, I said Walmart. If you want something more on the higher end there is J Crew and BaubleBar. Simply take a white tee and add a unique piece and it takes your outfit to the next level. This is another great way to be creative with your fashion!

8. Converse Sneakers have been an added to my summer wardrobe. I bought my first pair last season and I am loving them. I wear them with leggings, shorts and jeans. They also can be worn with a cute number or dress. I would go with white because they are sharp looking and they go with everything!

9. Bandanas! I know you are probably thinking what?? But trust me I have been seeing some great ways to style a bandana thanks to Jesse James Decker. If you don't know who she is, look her up, you won't regret it! Here are a few cute ways she styles hers!

10. Lastly, Alex and Ani Bracelets! I love these so much! I have about five of my own but they are so cute and there are so many different ones to choose from!

1. With it being Memorial Day Weekend I had to share one of my favorite homecoming stories in honor of all the troops that are serving, have served and those who lost their lives serving!

3. I have been loving the Doll 10 Highlighter in Champagne. I actually received this in an Ipsy bag and I just love it. I have been using it a lot this week and it just gives you such a natural highlight without being glittery, or cakey! It's beautiful!

4. I must tell you guys about the girl behind Just Dandy. Her name is Danielle and she is a blogger from Florida, she has an amazing Instagram account, and she has an online shop called Shop Dandy. The reason I wanted to mention her is because you have to follow her Instagram account, she posts the cutest outfits and they are all linked to her pictures. I so look forward to her pictures every day. I feel she is the Queen of OOTD's. Check out her Instagram account, it is @shopdandy and follow her NOW! Share-A-Chef

Happy Hump Day Everyone! I am coming at you with another great chef! I actually found out about this one from my sister, Lisa. She has an amazing lifestyle blog that offers great recipes, hauls, and just fun family stuff that everyone could relate to! Please go check her it out, you can find her blog here. This weeks chef is "The Pioneer Woman",  aka Ree Drummond, if you don't know about her, google her, she is amazing. I love her because she is down to earth and she creates recipes that the common person can create. They are easy, fun, inexpensive, and most importantly DELICIOUS! When I went to decided what  recipe to share I had a difficult time, they are all so good, but in the end  I went with the "Chicken Bacon Ranch Panini"! This is easy to create and the taste is phenomenal!

I hope you all enjoy this recipe and let me know what your favorite things to make are!

KP

Chicken Bacon Ranch Panini

Prep Time:

Cook Time:

Difficulty:
 Easy

Servings:
 4

Ingredients

  • 8 slices Crusty French Bread
  • 4 Tablespoons Softened Butter
  • 2 whole Chicken Breasts, Cut In Half From Top To Bottom
  •  Spicy Mustard
  •  Ranch Dressing (homemade Or Bottled)
  • 4 slices (thick) Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 8 slices Bacon, Cooked Until Chewy And Cut In Half

Preparation Instructions

Fry the four pieces of chicken breast in oil and butter until done in the middle, about 10-12 minutes. Slice into strips and set aside.
To assemble the sandwiches, spread a generous amount of mustard on one half of the bread. Spread a generous amount of ranch dressing on the other half. (Definitely be generous; when the sandwich cooks, these will turn into more of a "sauce.")
Arrange chicken, bacon slices, and cheese slices on the bottom half. Top with the top slice. Butter both sides of the bread generously, then grill in the panini maker. (If you do not have a panini maker, you can grill the sandwiches in a skillet, laying a heavy skillet on top of the sandwich to press it together. Turn to grill the other side in the same way.)
Slice in half and gobble it down immediately.

Hello Everyone!!

Happy Tuesday! For my Top 10 this week I decided to go with a 2 week theme! I will be talking about my Summer Essentials, with it being just around the corner. This week I will discuss my Beauty Essentials and next week will be my fashion pieces. I hope you all enjoy what I will be loving and needing this summer, and feel free to comment below on what your go-to summer essentials are!!

Talk to you soon!

KP

As soon as the warmer weather arrives the first thing I grab in the makeup department is my CoverGirl BB Cream. It's a great foundation to use to transition into summer.  The SPF is higher
and I feel you have more overall coverage with a BB cream in the summertime. You can use
any BB cream that fits you, but I have been using the CoverGirl one in shade 805, fair-light.

Another thing that I LOVE to do in the summer time is use nail polishes that are fun, colorful, flirty, and girly!! Essie has me covered with their summer collections. They are all PERFECT!

When it comes to eye shadow in the summer time I always reach for something simple and easy! A shadow I can just swipe on without worrying about anything. Revlon Creme Shadows have done that for me! All I do is swipe a color on and add some mascara, then this girl is ready to go!

This next item is the MOST IMPORTANT, Sunblock! I don't care what brand you get or use
but please do not forget this summer essential. It is key to keeping our skin safe and radiant all
at the same time!

HYDRATE, HYDRATE, HYDRATE and one more HYDRATE! Water is key to our everyday lives but mostly in hot temperatures! There are so many kinds of water out there now that there should be NO problem with getting the water we need each day! Mix it up and add some fruit to your water! Let me know if you have any fun creations!

Chap stick to me is something that I must go EVERYWHERE with, I honestly think my lips have become addicted. I currently use Carmex because it is the only one that I have found to keep my lips moisturized as well as adding a simple shine! It's Perfect!

A great waterproof mascara goes a long way! You know between swimming, crying, laughing, it's always a good call to have a waterproof mascara! There are so many options and brands out there to choose from.

Blush and Bronzer go hand in hand for summer! I feel the two can go together as one! There are tons of gorgeous colors of both out there! Find blushes and bronzers that make your face SCREAM I am ready for SUMMER!

Hair Ties! OMG! I use hair ties 24/7 but especially in the summer when I have had it with my
hair! There are so many cute option out there. We have gone beyond the simple black hair tie.
Take a look!

Lastly, speaking of what to do with our hair, I thought I would share some fun ways to wear your hair up during those hot months!! I found some great ideas via Pinterest!
